Kudusi’s story is one of dedication and unwavering commitment to the success of Masalit students and youth. Here’s a glimpse into our journey

From Vision to Reality

Rise of Kudusi – 2020

Kudusi for the Advancement of the Rising Generation is a student organization founded in 2020 by a group of passionate Masalit students and young professionals in Dayton, Ohio. They recognized the need for a supportive network for Masalit students navigating the American education system. The organization aims to foster social, cultural, and professional development for Masalit students and youth in the United States, envisioning a space where cultural identity can be celebrated while academic and personal growth flourishes.

The name “Kudusi” translates to “broom” in the Masalit language, symbolizing unity, strength, and revolution in Masalit culture.
